Age 91, of Holly, Michigan passed away on Thursday, February 12, 2026. In accordance with her wishes, cremation will take place. Expressions of sympathy may be shared with the family on Betty’s tribute wall at detroitcremationsociety.com.
Betty Lou Glasco was born on November 29th, 1934 in Flint, Michigan, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John and Alice (Reeves) Rushing. She grew up alongside many brothers and sisters and spent her life residing mostly in Flint, Birch Run, and Clio. After finding her place at Victory Tabernacle Church of God, she dedicated her life to God and her church. She enjoyed giving her time, energy and faith to her church and community. She served many at Angelo’s and Tom Z’s over her 50 year career as a waitress. In her final years, she enjoyed spending her time doing cross word puzzles, baking, watching her story (General Hospital), and being surrounded by family.
Left to cherish her memory are her son Bill (Donna), grandchildren Crystal (Alonzo) and John (Stephanie), five great-grandchildren, three great-great grandchildren, along with many nieces and nephews.
Betty was preceded in death by her parents, siblings, and husband Weslie Jr. |
