GERARD, Beverly J. – Of Waltonwood and Sterling Heights, formerly of Grand Blanc, age 82, died Saturday, September 19, 2015 at Evangelical Nursing Home in Sterling Heights.
Visitation 10 a.m. and Funeral service will be held at 12 noon Friday, September 25, 2015 at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Father Steve Anderson officiating.
Burial in Great Lakes National Cemetery.

Beverly was born in Detroit, Michigan on September 12, 1933, to John and Viola (O'Rourke) Kinzel.
She was formerly a lifetime resident of Grand Blanc, Michigan.
On May 3, 1952, she married Edward J. Gerard at St. Cecilia's Catholic Church in Detroit and he preceded her in death.
Beverly was formerly a member of Holy Family Catholic Church.
She loved her children, grandchildren and the Florida sun.
Surviving are five children, Mike and wife Mary,
Rick and wife Paula,
Cynthia and husband Kim Bell,
Kevin and wife Pam,
Dennis and wife Teresa;
12 grandchildren and many great-grandchildren;
sister-in-law, Margie DeCare and
brother-in-law, John Chambers.
Beverly was preceded in death by her sister, Joy Chambers and her brother, Robert Kinzel.
