DURANT, Regina Ann – of Flint, age 54, passed away November 8, 2015 at her residence under hospice care. A Funeral Service will be held 2 PM Wednesday, November 11, 2015 at Allen Funeral Home, 9136 Davison Rd., Davison; Chaplain Steve Hittle officiating. Cremation will follow the service. Visitation will be from 10 AM until the time of the service on Wednesday. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made the Hurley Breast Navigation.
Regina was born in Flint, MI on February 5, 1961, daughter of Ronald and Frances (Huffman) Stevens. She married her high school sweetheart, Thomas G. Durant, in Flint on February 7, 1981. Regina volunteered her time for anything related to Breast Cancer Awareness, Children’s Miracle Network and Hurley Hospital Volunteer. She loved the Christmas holiday and Christmas movies. Regina also loved her children, grandchildren and her beloved Yorkie, Mary Jane. She was very organized and never forgot a birthday, event or anniversary.
Regina is survived by her husband, Tom; children, Sara (Chris) Shultz and Thomas (Amanda) Durant; grandchildren, Zachary, Tinleigh and MeKayla; siblings, Jackie (Jim Korn) Dingman, Ronda (Mathew) McGuire, Ron (Tina) Stevens, Kari (Courtney) Coon and Jaime (Ryan Locke) Fournier; many nieces and nephews; best friend, Sandra Wiens, the “Louise” to Regina’s, “Thelma”. The family wishes to extend a special thank you to Heartland Hospice for their compassionate care of Regina.
