CLARK, James – of Burton, Michigan, age 82, passed away on Saturday, December 11, 2021, at his residence. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated 12 Noon Thursday, December 16, 2021, at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, 404 N. Dayton St., Davison, MI 48423; Rev. Fr. Andrew Czajkowski, celebrant. Cremation will take place following the Mass with inurnment at Great Lakes National Cemetery at a later date. The family will receive visitors 4-7PM Wednesday at Allen Funeral Home, 9136 Davison Rd., Davison, MI 48423 and one hour prior to the Mass at the church on Thursday. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to a charity of your choice.
Jim was born in Flint, MI on December 14, 1938, son of the late Wilber and Virginia (Allen) Clark. He married Margaret Wade on April 15, 1972, in Hale, MI. Jim owned and operated James Clark Construction Company for many years. He was an avid reader and enjoyed volunteering at the Eastside Mission.
Jim is survived by his wife, Margaret; sister, Nellie Miller; sister-in-law, Sharon Clark; many in-laws, nieces, nephews and friends. He was preceded in death by brothers, Bill and Douglas Clark; sister, Judy Benson.
