HERRICK, Betty Jane - of Montrose, age 87, died Wednesday, April 2, 2014 at her residence. Funeral services will be held at 11 AM Monday, April 7, 2014 at the O'Guinn Family Funeral Home in Montrose. Pastor Dan Pugh officiating. Burial will be in Montrose Township Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home on Sunday from 12 Noon until 8PM and Monday from 10 AM until the time of service at 11 AM. Contributions may be made to the family.
Betty was born on July 7, 1926 in Flushing, Michigan to the late Arthur and Ruby (Jewell) Loop. She married Clare Herrick on July 28, 1944 in Flushing, MI. He preceded her in death on February 27, 2014. Betty was a member of the Montrose Fraternal Order of Eagles Aerie #4090. She loved flowers, crafting, bowling, fishing, dancing and music by Elvis Presley and Betty Boop.
Surviving are: sons, Dennis Herrick of Harrison, Ron (Barb) Herrick of Florida; daughter, Pamela (Melvin) Crawford of Montrose; 10 grandchildren; 22 great grandchildren; 3 great great grandchildren.
