LARAMORE, C. DAWN – Of Flint, age 84, died Tuesday, December 12, 2017 at McLaren-Flint. Funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, December 14, 2017 at Eastgate Baptist Church 4226 East Atherton Road in Burton, Pastor Jerome Taylor officiating. Burial in Crestwood Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Eastgate Baptist Church. Visitation 5-9 p.m. Wednesday at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road in Flint. Mrs. Laramore will be at the church from 10 a.m. until the time of the service on Thursday. Mrs. Laramore was born in Pacific, Missouri on July 25, 1933 and was a resident of Flint since 1973. She married Reverend Dwain Laramore on May 3, 1952 and he preceded her in death on March 16, 2006. She served as a pastor's wife in several churches in Missouri and at Lincoln Park Baptist Church in Flint. Her family and church were her life. Mrs. Laramore was a secretary at Genesee Baptist Association from 1976 until her retirement in 2010. Surviving are her 3 children, Scott and wife Cheryl, Julie Laramore, Todd and wife Doris;
grandchildren, Deanna (Travis) Howell, Allison (Steffan) McCubbin and Noah Laramore; great-grandchildren, Reagan, Charlie and Claire;
sister, Jody Tucker; niece, Marla Taylor and nephew, Drew Tucker. She was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph and Josephine Avery; and great-grandson, Caiden. Your condolences may be shared with the family at www.swartzfuneralhomeinc.com
