ROUSE, Sharon – Of Grand Blanc, age 73, died Tuesday, July 28, 2020 at her residence.
Funeral service will be held at 12 noon Saturday, August 1, 2020 at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Pastor Gary Cech officiating.
Burial in Evergreen Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the American Lung Association.
Visitation 1-8 p.m. Friday and 11 a.m. Saturday until the time of the service at the funeral home.
Sharon was born in Flint, Michigan on November 4, 1946, the daughter of the late Clarence and Madeline (Chapman)Oxford.
On June 19,1965 she married James Rouse.
She enjoyed traveling, gardening, casinos and her Euchre league. She loved being around people, especially her sister and lifelong friends.
Her granddaughters were her world and meant everything to her.
Surviving are husband, Jim Rouse;
son, Jeff and wife Robin Rouse;
grandchildren, Kenedy Rouse, Kamryn Rouse and Kayden Rouse;
sister, Maritta Carpenter;
sister-in-law, Alberta Oxford:
and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her brother, Gailon Oxford.
