Funeral service will be held 1pm Monday, November 13, 2023 at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Flint.

Visitation 10am Monday until the time of the service at the funeral home.

Thomas was born in Flint, Michigan on January 10, 1956, the son of the late Marjorie (Lee) and Cleo VanVolkenburg.

Surviving are siblings, Terry VanVolkenburg, Linda Anderman and Timothy VanVolkenburg;

and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Marjorie and Cleo.
