BRILL, Arthur Thomas – Of Higgins Lake, formerly of Flint, age 88, died Tuesday, October 22, 2019 at Living Joy Assisted Living.
Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Saturday, October 26, 2019 at Holy Rosary Catholic Church, G-5199 Richfield Road, Flint, Father Roy Horning officiating. Mr. Brill will be at the church from 10 a.m. Saturday until the time of the Mass.
Burial in New Calvary Catholic Cemetery.
Visitation 11 a.m.– 8 p.m. Friday at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road. A Rosary will be prayed at 7 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
Arthur was born in Flint, Michigan on July 22, 1931, the son of the late Arthur and Hazel (Hogan) Brill.
Mr. Brill was employed with Buick Motor Division for 44 years and was a member of UAW Local #599. He served as Committeeman and Benefit Representative. He was a proud member of the American Legion, VFW and the Eagles. Arthur was an avid U of M fan and loved watching football. He also enjoyed gardening and boating.

Ken (Sandi) Brill,
Sherry Spade,
Dan (Paula Marie) Brill,
Julie (Dave) Horton,
Barbie (Mike) Thompson and Chris (Heidi) Brill;
18 grandchildren;
27 great-grandchildren and
7 great-great-grandchildren.
The family would like to extend their gratitude to the staff of Living Joy for their excellent care.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Charlotte; son, David; parents, Arthur and Hazel and sister, Gloria.
