CRANE, Harold L. – of Burt, formerly of Montrose and Birch Run, age 80, died Thursday, November 12, 2020 at McLaren Flint. A private Memorial service will be held along with a private family graveside service at Birch Run Cemetery. Memorial contributions can be made to the Masonic Home in Alma or St. Jude Children’s Hospital.
Harold was born December 28, 1939 in Flint, Michigan the son of the late Burrill and Ethel (Curtis) Crane. He graduated from Montrose High School. After high school, Harold served his country proudly in the US Air Force. On May 21, 1962 he married the former Linda Mills, she preceded him in death on November 24, 2002. On July 14, 2007 he married the former Roseanna Kay Morse in Burt, Michigan. Prior to his retirement 1992 Harold worked as a Millwright with General Motors for 30 faithful years. He was a life member of the Mason’s and was a member of both the Birch Run Lodge #514 and Montrose Lodge #428. He attended Burt United Methodist Church. Harold also loved to travel, hunt, fish, and play any type of card game with the family. He dearly loved his family and he enjoyed watching his grandchildren play sports.
Surviving are: Wife Roseanna; Daughters: Terri (Brian) Duby of Boon, Sheryl Jones of Saginaw and Leigh Ochoa of Birch Run; Special Nephew; Randy Fondren; Grandchildren: Justin McQuarters of Saginaw, Sarah Lord of Poquoson, Virginia, Kyle (Aubrey) Duby of Cadillac, Jordan (Taylor) Duby of Bay City, Brittany Ochoa of Birch Run and Miquela Ochoa of Birch Run; Several Great Grandchildren; Siblings: Jeannie Fondren of Flushing, Raymond (MaryAnn) Crane of Birch Run and Mary Walker of Flint. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his first wife Linda and parents Burril and Eathel Crane, brother Glenn B.
