Raymond Charles Kalanquin of Flint age 80 died March 15, 2014 at his residence. Funeral Mass will be held 11 am Saturday, March 22, 2014 at Holy Redeemer Catholic Church 1227 East Bristol Rd., Burton, MI. Family will receive visitors from 10 am Saturday until time of service. Fr. Steve Anderson officiating. Raymond has been cremated per his wishes. He attended and graduated from St. Michael Catholic High School in 1951 and he was an United States Army veteran. Raymond owned and operated Imperial Sports along with Dan Medich. He was presently employed with Bruce Pollock & Associates and was an active member of Holy Redeemer Catholic Church. Raymond is survived by brothers John (Phyllis) of Grand Blanc, William "Bill" (Joy) of Burton, George (Patricia) of OH, sister Mary Ann of Clio, aunt Irene Beckwith and many nieces, nephews and very special friends Dan Medich, Clare Streeter, Dave Buck and James Evans. Raymond was preceded in death by his parents LaVern and Charlotte (Bachler) Kalanquin, brothers Albert and LaVern, sister-in-law Gloria.
