ROBBINS, Stanley Gordon - Age 77, of Hopkins, MI, formerly of Fenton, passed away November 13, 2019. Funeral services will be held 1 PM, Thursday November 21, 2019 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Fenton Chapel, 1000 Silver Lake Rd., Fenton. Visitation will be 4-9 PM Wednesday; and 12 PM until the time of service Thursday. Interment in West Haven Cemetery, Owosso. Stanley was born June 4, 1942 in Flint, the son of Gordon and Lillian (O'Green) Robbins. He was a graduate of Fenton High School and Western Michigan University. Mr. Robbins was a school teacher at Fenton Middle School from September of 1968 to July of 1997. He was a former board member at Sandy Pines Resort. Stanley enjoyed golfing, gardening, and coin collecting. He was incredibly giving and also enjoyed sharing his hobbies with other family members.
Surviving are: children, Yvonne (Michael) Penrod, Tammie (Ron) DuQuette, Debbie Carrier, Chris (Melissa) Robbins, Lisa Jacobson, Tami (Eddie) Husak, Michael Robbins; 18 grandchildren; 22 great grandchildren; and sister, Jacqueline (Dave) LaFerney.
He was preceded in death by: his parents; "the two loves of his life" Gayle Robbins and Ruth Robbins; daughter, Diana Miller; sister, Patricia Reich; and brother, Gordon Robbins. Tributes may be shared at www.sharpfuneralhomes.com |
