HERRIMAN, CLEO “Sparkie”- Of Flint, age 78, died Saturday, September 20, 2025, at her residence.
Funeral service will be held at 1:30pm Thursday, September 25, 2025, at Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Flint. Pastor Steve Wood officiating.
Visitation will be held from 12-3pm and 5-7pm Wednesday and 12:30pm Thursday till the time of the service at the funeral home.
There will be an Eagles memorial service at 6pm Wednesday at the funeral home.
Burial in Flint Memorial Park Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, contribution may be made to All Ribbons Matter. Make checks payable to Burton Eagles Auxiliary.
Cleo was born in Flint, Michigan on August 1, 1947, the daughter of the late Ralph and Cleo (Carlton) Clark.
Sparkie was a member of the Burton Eagles Auxiliary since 1988.
She enjoyed going to Sugar Island in Sault St. Marie. She loved fishing, boating, gardening, birds and crafts. She loved spending time with her family and friends.
She is survived by her children, Tonya Catizone, Tammy (James) Mowl, Tenia Lasinskas, Brenda (Lance)Pruett; Kurt (Gail) Herriman and Brent (Laura) Herriman;
Grandkids, Christopher Cheney, Christia (John) Houser, Casey (Mike) Dodd, Devan (Danielle) Reynolds, Jestin (Amanda) Rubelman, Ashley (Jason) Rivest, James (Kaela) Mowl, Elizabeth Ondovcsik, Cody Firmingham, William (Billy) Lasinskas, Jason (Katie) Lasinskas, Kirk (Jessica) Lasinskas, Rachel (Andy) Arondoski, Cindy (George) Stauch, Andrea Anderson, Tylor Anderson, Joshua (Betsey) Pruett, Brittney (Albert) Parent, Dominic Wash, Jonathan Pruett, Koartnie Herriman, Elijah Herriman, Jakeb Herriman;
39 great grandkids;
Brother Lawrence Clark, many nieces and nephews.
Special friends, Tenia and Doug Wonch, Louann Genella and Scott Brasfield who has been a longtime friend, neighbor and part of the family.
She was preceded in death by her husband Cecil, son-in-law William Lasinskas, son Bert Herriman, 3 sisters, Beverly Klinert, Marlene Rozell and Sharon Ehrhart, brother Kenny Clark and brother-in-law Donald Ehrhart.
