It is with great sadness that we share the passing of William “Bill” A. Shaheen Jr., age 82, of Northfield, Illinois, who departed peacefully on March 29, 2026, in Naples, Florida. Born on November 17, 1943, in Flint, Michigan, Bill lived a life defined by devotion to his family, faith, and community.
Bill was the beloved son of the late William Shaheen Sr. and Madeleine (Karam) Shaheen and grew up in Flint. Known for his integrity, professionalism, and deep commitment to mentoring young lawyers, Bill was a longtime member of Kiwanis International, United Way, and the Genesee County Bar Association. He cherished time spent with family and friends and was a lifelong supporter of the University of Michigan, holding football season tickets for 65 years. He and the love of his life, Susan, his wife of 45 years, shared a love for travel and created treasured memories together around the world.
