ROBERTS, Glenn Austin - of Clio, age 85 passed away Friday, November 1, 2019
at his home. No memorial will take place at this time. Per his wishes he has been cremated.

Glenn was born January 23, 1934 in Erwin Tennessee to the late Clifton and Audrey (Robinette) Roberts. One of eight kids.

Glenn graduated Unicoi County High School in Tennessee 1954. He was employed at General Motors Flint Michigan before entering the United States Army in 1956 becoming a MP, his tour of duty took him to Europe where he was assigned to the Berlin Wall, honorably discharged in 1956. He moved to Michigan where he was employed at Ternstedt- Fisher Body Coldwater from which he retired. He met the love of his life, Helen Hutton while visiting some of his family in Findlay, Ohio. They were married on June 12,1960 in Findlay, their Honeymoon lasted over 50 years. Sadly she preceded him in death on September 5, 2010. Glenn enjoyed spending time with family which included playing cards, checkers, shooting pool, playing horseshoes, being outdoors enjoying nature and bird watching, the Orioles, the Red-Bellied Woodpecker he called "Silky Red", Hummingbirds, Robins and especially the Cardinals for they mate for life. He had love of old trains from where his Dad worked at the Clinchfield Railroad in Erwin Tn.

Glenn leaves behind to honor his memory two Daughters: Kinda (Jeff ) Cain (two granddogs Wyatt & Maverick), Teena (Norman) Jacobson; Grandchildren, Edward (Alyssa) Jacobson; Greatgrandson (Viktor) Jeremy Jacobson and girlfriend Tara; Extended family Derek and Tracy Blassingame; Sisters, Nadine Cox, Shirley Sweatt, Diana Berry; Brothers, Lee Roy and Thomas. He was preceded in death by sisters, Betty Tipton and Jeanetta Campbell.
