MORGAN, LeAnne - Of Flint, age 95, died Thursday, June 27, 2013 at Argentine Care Center.
Funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, July 2, 2013 at the
Swartz Funeral Home 1225 West Hill Road, Pastor Chris Tenneriello officiating.
Burial in Flint Memorial Park.
Those desiring may make contributions to The Alzheimer's Association or Bethany Baptist Church.
Visitation 12-2 and 4-7 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
Mrs. Morgan was born in Clarkton, Missouri on September 18, 1917, the daughter of Oscar and Flora Reagor, and was a resident of Flint. She married Ralph Eugene Morgan on October 2, 1940 in Piggott, Arkansas and he preceded her in death in 1976. She was a member of Bethany Baptist Church, where along with her special friends, she was a member of the Senior Processors. She loved to travel and work in her garden. Mrs. Morgan was very proud of working at St. Joseph Hospital as a cook in the Dietary Kitchen.
Surviving are her three children, Gene of Flint, David B. and wife Lana of Byron and Brenda Winsett of North Carolina;
eight grandchildren;
many great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren;
sister, Wathena Miller of Indiana;
sister-in-law, Mae Reagor of Arkansas;
special nieces and nephews.
She was also preceded in death by a granddaughter; three sisters and a brother.
