CLUTTS, Charlene R. of Flushing, age 72, died Thursday, October 31, 2019 at McLaren-Flint Hospital. Funeral service will be 12 p.m. Wednesday, November 6, 2019 at Rossell Funeral Home. Fr. Jonathan Perrotta will officiate. Burial to follow at Flushing Cemetery. Visitation will be at the funeral home from 11 a.m. until the time of the service. If desired, memorial contributions may be made to the Genesee County Humane Society.
Charlene was born in Flint, Michigan on September 7, 1947 to Ray and Catherine (Smith) Winchel. She graduated from Flint Central High School and earned her Associate’s in Business from Baker College. She married Norman Clutts at St. Michael’s Catholic Church in Flint on May 7, 1966. Charlene enjoyed spending time with lifelong friends, Carol & Ronald Bryant and Dave & Joyce Ballentine. She loved her cat, Jasper, and her favorite pastime of all was spending time with her family and grandchildren.
Charlene is survived by her husband of 53 years, Norman L. Clutts; children, Christie (Lance) Lemon and Lisa Lewis; and grandchildren, Cameron Parker Lemon and Olivia Rae Lemon. She was preceded in death by her parents, Ray and Catherine; and sister, Diane Adel Winchel.
