BOURKE, Michael J. – age 84, passed away on March 14, 2018 in Grand Blanc, Michigan. Visitation will be held on Friday, March 16, 2018 from 4pm – 8pm with Rosary Prayer Service at 7pm at Hill Funeral Home – 11723 S. Saginaw Street, Grand Blanc, Michigan. Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Saturday, March 17, 2018 at 10:30am with one hour of visitation prior to the mass at Holy Family Catholic Church – 11804 S. Saginaw Street, Grand Blanc, Michigan with Monsignor Jerry Vincke celebrating. Michael was born on December 18, 1933 in Detroit, Michigan to the late Francis and Martha Bourke. In 1961, Michael married the love of his life Deborah Fitzgerald in Grosse Pointe, Michigan. Together they traveled the world. Michael loved all things golf and U of M football. Some of his favorite times were spent with friends and family tailgating and watching the game. He had a great sense of humor and loved playing with his grandkids. He was a member of the Flint Rotary Club, and volunteered at McFarlen Library in Grand Blanc. Michael was a wonderful man that will be deeply missed. He is survived by his wife, Deborah; children: Kelly (Jeffrey Wartell) Bourke, Thomas (Katie Leoni) Bourke, Michael (Peggi) Bourke III, Patricia (Allen) Ginsberg, Lindsay (James) Agostini, Brian Bourke; grandchildren: Dempsey Wartell, Bourke “Buddy” Wartell, Isaiah Wartell, Michael Bourke IV, Allan Fitzgerald Bourke, Patrick Bourke, Benjamin Ginsberg, Jack Ginsberg, Thomas Agostini, Tori Agostini, Caroline Agostini; siblings: Jeremiah Bourke, Sheila (John) Hamilton, and Sharon (Daniel “Duffy”) Waters. Those desiring may make memorial contributions to the Flint Rotary Foundation or McFarlen Children’s Program in memory of Michael.
