BAKER, Virginia L. - Of Flint, age 87, died Monday, December 18, 2017 at McLaren-Flint.
Funeral service will be held 2pm Friday, December 22, 2017 at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Flint.
Burial in Bendle Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to a charity of one’s choice.
Visitation 12 Noon Friday until the time of the service at the funeral home.
Virginia was born in Hoxie, Arkansas on July 12, 1930, the daughter of Weldon and Bessie (Moughler) Householder. On May 5, 1949, she married Robert Baker and they were married 33 years before his passing. Virginia was employed by the Grand Blanc Schools for over 30 years.
Surviving are sons, Robert (Martha) Baker Jr, of Indianapolis, IN and Mark (Jennifer) Baker of Grand Blanc;
grandchildren, Robert (Melissa) Baker, III, Laura (Drew) Kelsey, Amanda Baker, Mackenzie Baker, Mitchell Baker, Morgan Baker and Grayson Baker;
brother, Elbern (Peggy) Householder of Swartz Creek;
and sister, Drusa Hunt of Grand Blanc.
