WISNIEWSKI, Wanda Marie - Age 87, of Swartz Creek, died Thursday, November 8, 2018. Funeral Mass will be celebrated 11:00 AM Monday, November 12, 2018 at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, 600 N. Adelaide St., Fenton. Fr. Robert Copeland celebrant. Burial in New Calvary Catholic Cemetery, Flint. Visitation will be held at Sharp Funeral Homes, Fenton Chapel, 1000 Silver Lake Road, Fenton Sunday from 1-4 and 6-8 PM, where a rosary will be prayed at 7 PM and Monday at the church from 10 AM until the time of the Mass. Those desiring may make contributions to Genesee County Humane Society.

Wanda was born September 24, 1931 in Flint, the daughter of Leon and Frances (Karczynski) Wilczynski. She was a 1949 graduate of Flint Northern High School. She married Jerome Anthony Wisniewski January 17, 1959 at All Saints Catholic Church in Flint and he preceded her in death December 6, 2012. Wanda was a former member of All Saints Catholic Church in Flint, where she was active in the Altar Society. She also was a member of Dom Polski in Flint. She enjoyed bowling, gardening, and traveling with her family and friends. The family wishes to extend special thanks to the staff at Heart to Heart Hospice and Brookdale Assisted Living for their compassionate care.

Surviving are: son, Mark and wife Colleen Wisniewski of Fenton; daughter, Cathy and husband Alan Archer of Johnson City, TN; grandsons, Zachary Wisniewski of Auburn Hills and Michael Wisniewski of Fenton; and nieces and nephews.

She was also preceded in death by her parents; and brother, Eugene Wilczynski. Tributes may be shared at www.sharpfuneralhomes.com.
