ROBINSON, William Lee – Of Clio, age 82, died Saturday, February 16, 2019 at his residence.
Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Wednesday, February 20, 2019 at St. Robert Bellarmine Catholic Church, 310 North Cherry Street, Flushing, Father Jonathan Perrotta officiating.
Burial in New Calvary Catholic Cemetery.
Those desiring may make contributions to the Special Olympics.
Visitation 12-3 and 5-8 p.m. Tuesday at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road.
Mr. Robinson will be at the church from 10 a.m. Wednesday until the time of the Mass.
William was born in Flint, Michigan on June 6, 1936, the son of Webster and Anna (Orlicky) Robinson.
He graduated from St. Matthew’s Catholic School.
William was married to the love of his life, Ursula for 53 years.
He proudly served in the U.S. Marine Corps. William retired from the City of Flint, after 36 years.
He was a sports enthusiast and especially enjoyed watching his grandkids at their sporting events. Above all, he loved his family and spending time with them up north.
Surviving are wife, Ursula Robinson;
children, Lori (Pat) Weber, Carol Davis, Gary (Shannon) Robinson, Michael (Theresa) Robinson and Robert Robinson;
grandchildren, Sam, Charity and Rebecca Hoffman, Jason Davis and Stephanie Munger, David Plamondon and Ryan Tackabury, Kiera and Reese Robinson, Halie, Regan and Griffin Robinson;
great-grandchildren, Josie Freeman, Jayson Davis, Jax Hutchings and Josiah Davis.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Webster and Anna Robinson; brother, Richard Robinson; aunt, Stella Berry; daughter, Shelly Tackabury and grandsons, Matthew Munger and Michael Munger.ill
