JABLONSKI, James “Jim” – of Burton, age 52, passed away August 30, 2014. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated 11 AM Thursday, September 4, 2014 at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, 404 N. Dayton St., Davison; Rev. Fr. Andrew A. Czajkowski celebrant. Burial will be in New Calvary Catholic Cemetery. Visitation will be 2-7 PM Wednesday at Allen Funeral Home, 9136 Davison Rd., Davison. On Thursday, visitation will be at the church from 10 AM until the time of service. A Rosary will be prayed 7 PM Wednesday. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Blessed Sacrament Church for the Retired Priest Home.
Jim was born in Flint, MI on December 27, 1961, son of George and Frances (Romanowski) Jablonski. He graduated from Davison High School and U of M Flint. Jim was an avid bowler and golfer. His passion was gardening and woodworking. Jim worked at a dental lab, retail and family bakery.
Jim is survived by his mother, Frances; siblings, Rick, Cathy, Brian; niece, Sara; great-niece, Brinley; special friend, Kim. He was preceded in death by his father, George; brother, Mark. Jim was well loved and will be sadly missed by his family and friends.
