Burial in Evergreen Cemetery.

Wade was born in Emerson, Arkansas on April 29, 1937, the son of the late Wade and Bora (Allen) Jermany.

Wade often spoke with fondness when he described his childhood in Emerson. He was active in gardening, hunting, fishing and marksmanship. He cherished his youthful time with his family in Arkansas. He learned how to live off the land and how nature resources work for bountiful sustainment. He used this knowledge throughout his life and educated his children on how to accomplish sustainment in nature. Wade as an adult used his knowledge to maintain his lawn at a high level. He would also frequently remind pedestrians to use the sidewalk vs. cutting across the lawn he meticulously maintained. Wade was also a family history historian and would talk about family history with great pride.

Wade as a young man decided to leave Arkansas and move to Dallas, TX. In Dallas Wade met Jessie Mae Easter and they made a decision to continue their life's journey through matrimony on April 15, 1961. In Dallas Wade had three daughters and decided it was time to seek improved lifestyle opportunities. He moved his family to Flint, MI, where he and Jessie both worked and retired from General Motors. In Flint, Wade had a son and daughter. He was a dedicated loving father focused on teaching his children ways to navigate the realities of the world.

Wade dedicated his life to Jehovah God March 11, 1973. His faith was unshakable. He would interject Jehovah’s teaching in many discussions and frequently expressed his love for Jehovah. He used biblical principles to guide the methods he employed to raise his children. Wade was the most joyful grandfather. He enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren. The joy of those moments was unmistakable when witnessing his interaction in settings with his grandchildren. Most of his grandchildren referred to him as dad and lovingly as papa. Wade raised many more children than the five he fathered.

Wade was both mechanically and electrically inclined. Wade was not one to call or request assistance from a repair technician. He could diagnose just about any piece of equipment that was not functioning and would completely disassemble, rebuild and repair. After his efforts anything he used his skills on would work perfectly. He was self-taught through personal interest and commitment. This gifted skill set led to growth opportunities in his professional career. He took extreme pride in his work and would take the time to explain in detail to pass on his knowledge to all in his circle.

Wade Jermany Jr was cherished by his family and close friends. His sense of humor, warmth, and laughter clearly brought a lot of joy to those around him. Memories of him singing and dancing with his wife of 51 years paints a beautiful picture of a life filled with love and happiness. He scheduled road trips to Pine Bluff, AR, Dallas, Tx and Los Angeles, CA. Those trips provided lifelong memories for all his children. Road trips played a significant role in helping connect his family with grandparents, aunties, uncles and extended family members. Those shared experiences were truly special. He will undoubtedly be deeply missed.

He is survived by: siblings Victorine George of Flint, MI, Lois Pitts (Billy Wayne, deceased) of Dallas, TX, Vora Jean Tippy (Jackie) Pine Bluff, AR and Children Debra Kay Jermany-Griffin of Flint, MI, Sandy Dolores Kendall (Carlos) of Westland, MI, Antronette Lyshon Jermany of Flint, MI, Vincent Wayne Jermany of Scottsdale, AZ, Crystal Marchette Jermany of Lexington, KY; eight grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren and a wonderful collection sisters-brothers in-laws, nieces, nephews, cousins, friends, witnesses and extended family.
