Eric Bauer, age 45, of Grand Blanc, passed away on February 12, 2026.
Eric was born in Flint, Michigan, on August 22, 1980, to Jim and Kathy Bauer. Eric was a proud graduate of Grand Blanc High School and went on to pursue a career in healthcare, graduating from Baker College Nursing program. Outside of work, Eric was a man of energy and spirit. He enjoyed working out, it was a big passion of his. Eric found freedom on the open road while riding his motorcycle. He was a big sports fan. Eric could always be found rooting for the Michigan Wolverines and the Detroit Lions. Eric’s memory will be cherished by his family and friends.
He is survived by his sons, Micheal Bauer and Jacob Bauer;
parents, Jim and Kathy Bauer;
brother, Chris (Jill) Bauer;
nephews, Jonathan Bauer and Andrew Bauer;
and his special friend, Michelle.
Friends and family are invited to gather for visitation on Monday, February 16, 2026 from 3:00pm to 8:00pm at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Flint.
Visitation will be held Tuesday, February 17, at 10:00am at the church until the time of the Mass at 11am. at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, 600 N. Adelaide Street, Fenton.
Following the funeral Mass cremation will take place.
