Clark Boyd Connolly, of Grand Blanc, died October 26, 2025. Funeral services will be held at Sharp Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 6063 Fenton Road, Grand Blanc. Visitation will be on Thursday, November 6, 2025 beginning at 2:00 P.M. followed by a service about 4:00 P.M. Clark was born in Ann Arbor, Michigan, the son of Bernard George Connolly and Celia M. (Kuehn) Connolly. Always a model student Clark focused on a career, attended Wayne State University graduating in 1957 from the School of Mortuary Science. For sixty years Clark was a dedicated funeral director serving families in Flint and Genesee County. As a young child Clark demonstrated a natural love of music. It has been said, that much to the delight of a gathered family, Clark was smugly serious as he played on his grandmother’s piano. No lessons-simply by ear. While in high school he played the trumpet in the marching band. His love of music moved him through life while listening and watching orchestras conducted by international conductors and recently he raved how he felt the spiritual lift of gospel music. Clark is survived by his sister, Audrey Connolly Murphy; A niece, Vicki Joy Bennett (Steve), two nephews, Patrick M. Bennett (Pamela) and Garrick Connolly Bennett.
