HUDSON, Olive “Irene” – Of Flint, age 85, died Thursday, July 17, 2025, at her residence with her loved ones at her side.
Funeral service will be held 11am Tuesday, July 22, 2025 at Pilgrim Lutheran Church, 3222 S. Genesee Road, Burton.
Pastor Mark Matheny officiating.
Visitation 2-8pm Monday at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Flint.
Burial in Flint Memorial Park.
Olive was born in Wakefield, Michigan on August 1, 1939, the daughter of the late Christian and Olive (bay) Zudmulder. On April 4, 1959, she married Louie Hudson in Flint. Olive retired from General Motors. She was a member of Pilgrim Lutheran Church and past member of Redeemer Lutheran Church.
Surviving are children, Christine Cates & Jimmy Cates, Mark Hudson & Tina, Caren Smith & David, & Linda Pull;
15 Grandchildren and many great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
And sister, Christine (Curly) Dalbeck.
She was preceded in death by husband, Louie Cecil Hudson and daughter Lori Hudson and 11 brothers and sisters.
