OSKEY, Dale V., 65 of Atlas Township, went to be with Jesus, December 12, 2015 after a courageous battle with cancer. Visitation will be 4-8 PM Thursday, December 17, 2015 at Allen Funeral Home, 9136 Davison Rd., Davison. A Funeral Service will be held 11 AM Friday, December 18, 2015 at Faith Baptist Church, 7306 E. Atherton Rd., Davison. In lieu of flowers, please consider donating to Faith Baptist School Education Fund.
Dale was born November 25, 1950, son of Van and Marion Oskey.
Dale married Loretta Hall on January 12, 1974 and was an amazing father to Aaron and Brent. Dale owned Dale Oskey Construction/ Nehemiah Masonry for 30 years; having the opportunity to build many great buildings in our community to which he took great pride.
He loved spending time golfing, vacationing and serving God. Dale had a heart for the ministry of Faith Baptist Church of Davison. He had the privilege of serving as Deacon for many years, but his passion was for the Bus Ministry that he served in over 40 years. He also loved to tell people about Jesus that transformed his life.
He was honored with a Doctorate of Humane Letters from Bob Jones University and served as a Board Member of Maranatha Baptist University. Dale had a passion for Christian education and was privileged to have the opportunity to help many students with scholarships.
Dale leaves to cherish his memory his wife Loretta, sons, Aaron and wife Christina, Brent and wife Hanni, and five amazing grandchildren, Nadia, Will, AJ, Hudson and Gage, sister Christine (Kenneth) Bauer and brother Martin Oskey and many nieces and nephews, sister-in-law Barbara Thompson and brother-in-law Bill (Candy) Hall. Dale was blessed with many close friends and last but not least, his furry companion, Cooper.
Gone from this life but never forgotten, we will cherish the life that we shared.
