HOWELL, Margaret A. “Peg” – Of Flushing, age 92, died Thursday, December 7, 2017 at McLaren-Flint.
Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Monday, December 11, 2017 at St. Robert Catholic Church, 310 North Cherry Street, Father Anthony Brooks officiating.
Burial in New Calvary Catholic Cemetery.
Those desiring may make contributions to the Marion D. Crouse Special Olympics.
Visitation 2-7 p.m. Sunday at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road.
A Rosary will be prayed at 6 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
Mrs. Howell will be at the church 10:30 a.m. Monday until the time of the Mass.
Margaret was born in Flint, Michigan on June 20, 1925, the
daughter of the late William and Margaret Darnell. She was a member of St. Robert Catholic Church, where she participated in CCW and St. Isadore Guild.
Surviving are 10 children, Diane and husband Jim Harris,
Mary and husband Ralph Palka,
Katherine Howell,
William and wife Wendy,
Janice and husband Robert Bartman,
Robert and wife Tanya,
James and wife Erika,
Michael and wife Linda,
Christine and husband Michael Treiger and
Jean Jenniches;
many grandchildren and great-grandchildren;
brother, James Darnell,
several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Clair, on March 16, 2011 and brother, John Darnell.
