Judith A. Conner, 69, of Chillicothe, IL, formerly of Davenport, passed way Tuesday, December 14, 2010 at Methodist Medical Center Peoria, IL. Funeral services will be 10:00AM Friday (12/17) at the Runge Mortuary Chapel Davenport. There will be no visitation and burial will follow at Davenport Memorial Park Cemetery. Memorials may be made to St. Edwards Catholic School Chillicothe, IL. On line condolences may be made at www.runegmortuary.com.
Judy was born September 30, 1941 in Davenport, IA to Charles & Hulda (Gripp) Conner. She had been employed for 30 years with Caterpillar retiring in 1996. Judy had been an avid bowler, loved to read, and kept a beautiful English garden in her back yard. Her favorite past time was scrapbook with her 2 best friends, sister in law Judy Conner & sister Sue Lage. Judy had a strong love for her family and her grandchildren held very special place in her heart.
Survivors include 2 daughters Misty (Kevin) Kormann, Blue Grass, IA, Tiffany (Chad) Timmerman, Chillicothe, IL; a son Charles (Tonya) Cox, Peoria, IL; Grandchildren Kle, Kain, & Kole Kormann, Taylor, Andrew, & Hailey Cox, Devon, Caden, & Madeline Timmerman; 5 great grandchildren; 3 Sisters Jean Lange, Linda Conner, & Sue (Mike) Lage; 2 brothers George (Judy) Conner & Bob (Becky) Conner; and several nieces & nephews.
Judy was preceded in death by her parents, 3 sisters Coleen, Permilla, & Francis; and 2 brothers Charles & Jerry.
