LUKETICH, Ann Katherine – Of Flushing, age 89, died Tuesday, February 4, 2014 at Courtyard Manor.
Funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, February 10, 2014 at the
Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Father Roy Horning officiating.
Burial in New Calvary Catholic Cemetery.
Visitation 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Sunday and 10 a.m. Monday until the time of the service at the funeral home.
Ann was born in Flint, Michigan on May 27, 1924 daughter of Steve and Stella (Bann) Dunjak in Flint, Michigan. She lived in Royal Oak, Flint and Flushing Michigan.
She graduated from Flint Northern High School in 1942.
On September 11, 1948, she married Peter Luketich in Flint.
She was a member of St. Robert Bellarmine Catholic Church, SNPJ Lodge #459 and the Croatian Club.
Ann was a Manager at National Life Insurance Company for many years, retiring in 1987.
Surviving are daughter, Karen Farney and husband Shawn (Fenton);
grandchildren, Matthew Farney (Hillary) Brighton and Ryan (Melissa) Farney of Fenton;
two great-grandchildren, Nicholas Farney and Samuel Farney;
sisters, Nina Stimac of Evart, Michigan,
Katherine Miller of Kalamazoo, Michigan and
Mary Penabaker of Flushing, Michigan
brothers-in law, Joseph Luketich of Mt. Morris and Jim Luketich of Flint, Michigan;
several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Peter, parents and her brother, Steve Dunjak.
