Travis "Lil Buddy" Tyner, age 5, of Mt. Morris, passed away on Tuesday, February 27, 2018. A memorial service will be held in Travis’ honor at 3:00 pm, Sunday, March 4, 2018, at the Martin Funeral, Cremation & Tribute Services in Mt. Morris. Travis’ family will be present to receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday, from 12:00 noon until 8:00 pm and on Sunday, from 10:00 am until the time of his memorial service at 3:00 pm. Those desiring may consider memorial contributions to the family. Envelopes are available at the funeral home.
Travis was born June 16, 2012, in Novi, he is the son of Eric Tyner and Ami Forster. Educated locally, he attended Pinehurst Elementary School in Mt. Morris. In his free time, Travis loved spending time outdoors, especially at his sister’s pond. He also enjoyed watching superhero movies, and Toy Story. Travis’ dream was to become a professional basketball player. He had an infectious personality and will be missed greatly by his family and classmates.
Left to cherish his memory, parents: Eric Tyner and Ami Forster; six siblings: Crysti, Gaje, and Alyssa Tyner, Gabriella, Raymond, and Alex Ascencio and their dad, Raymond Ascencio, Jr.; grandparents: Patricia Forster and significant other, Kevin Curtis, and Theresa Gray.
Travis was welcomed into Heaven with open arms by his grandfather Larry Gray and great-grandmother Leona Stover.
Travis’ family would like to extend a special thank you to “grandma Margaret” and the rest of the staff at Hurley Medical Center and UofM Hospital in Ann Arbor for the compassionate care.
