CLAYTON, Cherie Dell - Age 68, of Flint, passed away Saturday, April 6, 2024. Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM Saturday, April 13, 2024 at Sharp Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 6063 Fenton Road, Grand Blanc (The service will be live streamed and can be viewed via the link on Ms. Clayton's obituary page at www.sharpfuneralhomes.com). Pastor Sarah LaRose-Nettell officiating. Visitation will be held at the funeral home Saturday from 1:00 PM until the time of the service. Cherie was born September 15, 1955 in Flint, the daughter of James T. and Ila M. (Hilliard) Clayton. She attended Flint Southwestern High School. She had resided in Flint her entire life. She was a member of The Easter Seals Society and Disabilities First. Cherie enjoyed painting ceramics, babysitting and watching her Chicago Bears.
Surviving are: sister, Shirley (Derek) Miller of Burton; brothers, Randy (Carol) Clayton of Burton and Hector Rodriquez of Flint; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Dennis Clayton; and sisters, Diane Clark and Linda Stockinger. Tributes may be shared at www.sharpfuneralhomes.com. |
