NEWBAUER, Barbara A. – Of Swartz Creek, age 84, died Sunday, November 21, 2021 at Springvale Assisted Living.
Private Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Mary’s Queen of Angels Church, 4413 South Morrish Road, Swartz Creek, Father Louis Ekka officiating.
Entombment at New Calvary Catholic Cemetery.
Barbara was born in Flint, Michigan on November 7, 1937, the daughter of the late Arnold and Berniece Herron.
She was a member of St. Mary’s Queen of Angels Church.
She loved her cat, Boots; but she especially loved spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Surviving are children, Deborah (Robert) Grasel,
John (Loveda) Newbauer and
Jill (Douglas) Witten;
grandchildren, Michele Edenburn (Owen Bailey), Kevin (Courtney) Grasel, Bethany (Hunter) Kim, Katie (Steven) Meier and Ali Newbauer;
great-grandchildren, Camden Grasel, Beckham Grasel, Oliver Kim, Lilah Kim and Wesley Meier;
sister, Jean V. Herron; brother, Thomas Herron and cat, Boots.
She was preceded in death by her grandson, Scott.
