MOONEY, Ronald P. - Of Burton, age 67, died Friday, January 2, 2015 at his residence.
Funeral service will be held 12pm Tuesday, January 6, 2015 at Bethany Baptist Church, 2353 East Grand Blanc Road, Grand Blanc,
Pastor Steve Thomas officiating.
Burial in Crestwood Cemetery.
Visitation 1-4pm and 6-8pm Monday at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Flint.
Ronald was born in Indiana on December 23, 1947, the son of Robert and Wilma (Wolff) Mooney. He married Rachel Thomas on June 23, 1973 in Flint and she preceded him in death on April 1, 1996. Ronald was a member and very involved with Bethany Baptist Church. He was an avid Cowboy Action Shooter.
Surviving are sons, Seth and Jared Mooney;
daughter, Dara (James) Frank;
grandchildren, Katie, Lucas, and Rachel;
brother, Robert Mooney Jr. and sister, Jeri Mooney;
He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Ronald was preceded in death by his wife, Rachel and his parents.
