SWITZER, Ada – of Clio, age 85, died Friday, December 29, 2017 at Covenant Healthcare – Cooper in Saginaw. Honoring her wishes, private services are being held. Memorial contributions may be made to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation.
Ada was born on May 16, 1932 in Clio, Michigan to the late William and Ada May (Vorse) Mahany. She attended Clio Schools. Ada married Lyle Switzer in Clio on January 13, 1951. He preceded her in death on April 9, 2001. Ada worked for Pewter Kingdom in Frankenmuth for many years. She was an avid bowler and liked going to dance halls in her earlier years. Ada also enjoyed playing cards with her family.
Surviving are: Children: Diane Everhart, LuAnn Switzer, Susan (Rick) Morel, and Dennis (Teresa) Switzer; 8 grandchildren, and 8 great-great grandchildren.
