Kerwin Lee Coughlin, born on October 21, 1961, passed away on December 8, 2025, at the age of 64. Kerwin resided in Burton, Michigan. Per his wishes, cremation has taken place.
Kerwin was known for his humorous nature and wonderful smile. He had a deep love for music, especially the Beatles, and enjoyed collecting music, comic books, and toys. As a sports enthusiast, golf was his favorite, closely followed by tennis and baseball. He was a talented artist, known for his ability to sketch cartoons and replicate images with remarkable accuracy.
Kerwin is survived by his 28 cousins, with thirteen from his mother's side and fifteen from his father's side, as well as his two aunts. He was preceded in death by his parents, Larry and Reba Coughlin; his sister, Karen Wennersten; his grandparents, John and Mabel Coughlin, and John and Ella Cleary; and several aunts, uncles, and cousins.
The family would like to express their gratitude to Dr. Thomas Schaefer, Courtyard Manor of Fenton, and Gentiva Hospice for their service and care.
A funeral visitation will be held on Sunday, December 14, 2025 from 10:00am to 11:00am at Hill Funeral Home, 11723 S. Saginaw Street, Grand Blanc, Michigan 48439. The funeral service will be held following the visitation at 11:00am. Rev. Craig Moore will be officiating the funeral service in honor of Kerwin.
