PIERSON, David M. – age 70, passed away surrounded by his family in Montrose, Michigan on September 20, 2018. A Funeral Service will be held on Sunday, September 23, 2018 at 5:00 P.M. with visitation prior to the service beginning at 1:00 P.M. at Reigle Funeral Home – 5501 W. Pierson Road, Flushing, Michigan. David was born on September 25, 1947 to the late Raymond and June (Smith) Pierson in Flint, Michigan. He graduated from Kearsley High School in 1965. David proudly served in the United States Army and was stationed in Germany. He worked GM for 30 years as a machine repairman and trainer. On June 8, 1984, David married the love of his life Marian Rosa and together they built a life full of happiness and love for all God’s creations. David was an extremely talented individual. He could do just about anything. He was a locksmith, woodworker, leather maker, and electrician. David also proudly earned a brown belt in Martial Arts. He was an avid animal lover and enjoyed the outdoors. But above all, David loved every moment spent with his family; especially those moments splashing in the pool with his grandchildren during the hot summer days. David was a wonderful man that will be deeply missed. He is survived by his wife, Marian; children, Fergus Wetzel, Charles Rosa IV, Angela (Kevin) Moore, Andrew (Jill Jasik) Rosa, Joseph Pierson, Britni Rosa-Pierson, Wayne Pierson; grandchildren: Gaelen Wetzel, Merrick Wetzel, Eli Wetzel, Talon Wetzel, CJ Rosa, Eric Rosa, Vinnie Rosa, Ian Rosa, LeeAnn Burchfield, Alexandrea (John) Doroba, Riley Moore, Logan Moore, Andrew Rosa II, Ahna Rosa, Paisley Maccombs; great-grandchildren, Jaylon Burchfield, Jaleesa Burchfield, Penelope Rosa; niece, Chelsea (Matthew) Decker; brothers, Robin (Debbie) Pierson, Jeff (Kim) Pierson; and special family members, Veronica Rosa and Jeanne Samples. He was preceded in death by his parents, Raymond and June Pierson; sister, Tina Owens; son, David Pierson Jr.; and grandson, Max Burchfield.
