Age 76, of Fenton, went to be with her Lord Friday October 10, 2025 at Concerned Country Care. A Celebration of Life will be held 1:00 to 3:00pm Saturday October 18, 2025 at Detroit Cremation Society 8253 S. Saginaw Street, Grand Blanc, with a service to take place at 3:00pm, Pastor Scott Wade officiating. Virginia was born in Engelberg, Arkansas on December 31, 1948. The daughter of late James Templeton and Lois (Collier) Flippo. She was a graduate of Brandon High School in 1967. Virginia was a homemaker for the majority of her life and was an excellent cook. She was very artistically talented and enjoyed a variety of crafts, was an avid reader and loved the beach as well as lakes and oceans; she loved taking trips with her sisters whom she shared a close relationship with. Virginia was especially fond of the Christmas season and enjoyed decorating and creating a beautiful home for the holiday. Virginia was a longtime member of Cornerstone Church and possessed a very strong Christian faith.
Surviving are her siblings Dale Templeton of Southgate, Barb (Mike) Reed of Ortonville and Judy (Rick) Sims of Ortonville; children Mark (Maryann) Spencer of Davison, Bethany (Scott) Wade of Poquoson, VA and Daniel Spencer of Fenton; grandchildren Alyssa, Owen, Wyatt, Daphney, Everleigh, Isaac, Josiah, Micah and Tirzah; great grandchild Kennedy. She was preceded in death by her parents. |
