LAUBE, JOHN RICHARD – Of Flint, age 56, died Sunday, March 30, 2025 at his residence.
Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Flint Children’s Museum.
On September 16, 2006 he married Catherine Jepsen.
John was born in Dearborn, Michigan on July 17, 1968, the son of Richard and Patricia Laube.
John was an avid Michigan State fan, loved his fur babies Thorin and Mosely, enjoyed online games and his PlayStation; especially Red Dead Redemption as he played that game numerous times.
His current D & D group, WaterDeep, was his joy to be a part of and every other Sunday was spent storming castles, casting fireballs and enjoying good friends and food. He loved that both AJ and Rose would join in and that they were both enjoying a game he loved.
Even though he would say he was “voluntold” he enjoyed supporting the Kearsley Bands as a Kearsley Band Booster. He helped at all home Football games getting the stands ready for the band and supporting his favorite flute player, his daughter Rose.
He loved his family very much and enjoyed family get togethers, especially the yearly vacations in Ludington where he had fun in the Golf Tournament, Euchre Tournament, numerous one on one card games, talking to family and calling BINGO. His greatest accomplishment is AJ and Rose, whom he loved very much and is so proud of both of them,and knows that they will have the best life ever; and he will be with them all the time.

daughter, Rose Laube
brother, Jim Laube
father, Richard Laube
numerous aunts, uncles and cousins
He will be missed by his family, friends and fur babies but we know he has been reunited with his mom, Pat, and is playing the best game of Hands and Feet he could hope for.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Patricia Laube.
