BISSONNETTE, Elizabeth Ellen – Of Flint, age 93, died Saturday, August 1, 2020 at Abbey Park Assisted Living.
Visitation 10:30 a.m. and Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 12 noon, Friday, August 7, 2020 at St. Pius X Catholic Church, G-3139 Hogarth Avenue, Flint Father Anthony Strouse officiating.
In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to St. Pius X Church or Catholic Charities.
Elizabeth was born in Flint, Michigan on October 14, 1926, the daughter of the late Harry and Ada (Merriman) Brownell.
Elizabeth was a devout, loving wife of 64 years to Raymond Bissonnette and a caring mother to her four children, Ron - Garland, TX,
Marcia Burns (Michael) - Holly,
Diane DuCharme - Grand Blanc and
Brian - Flushing.
She also leaves behind six grandchildren, Amy, Krista, Blake, Ryan, Nicole and Eric;
plus one great-grandchild, Logan.
Betty enjoyed any kind of games, especially cards. She was an avid record keeper and kept logs of the wins and losses over many years. Heaven just gained a new accountant.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond, on April 25, 2014.
