HORTON, KEVIN BRUCE – Of Flint, age 66, died Wednesday, November 18, 2020 at McLaren-Flint.
Private service will be held at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road.
Visitation 4-8 p.m. Saturday and 1-8 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
Due to Covid-19 and government regulations, only 25 people will be allowed in the chapel at one time. Mask, group capacity and distancing guidelines must be practiced.
Kevin was born in Flint, Michigan, the son of Bernard and Florence (Burke) Horton.
He married Sharilyn Gilmore in 1977 in Owosso, Michigan.
He loved bowling, woodworking, working on cars, traveling and cruises.
Above all else, he loved his family.
Kevin was employed at GM for 32 years.
Surviving are wife, Sharilyn;
children, Richard (Tina) Horton, Mary (Frank) Lawson and Dennis Horton;
grandchildren, Alysia Navarro, Juanita Montgomery, Bernard Horton, Willie Lawson, Lexi Phillips, Allisha Mooney, Dennis Horton and Julianna Horton;
great-grandchildren, Jaylah Montgomery, Bentley White and Maverick White;
sisters and brothers, Karen Edson,
Brian Horton,
Larry Horton,
Mark Horton,
Linda Parson and
Diane Hunter;
many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Ralph and Dennis.
