Murphy, Jacqueline “Jackie” of Flushing, age 71, died Wednesday, November 8, 2017, at McLaren-Flint. A memorial service will be 2 p.m. Tuesday, November 14, 2017, at Rossell Funeral Home. Pastor Todd Frusti will officiate. The family will receive friends from 1 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home until the time of the service. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society or St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
Jacqueline was born in Flushing, Michigan on September 28, 1946, the daughter of Robert and Mary Clark. She married Danny Murphy on December 31, 1964. Jackie was a member of the Women’s Order of the Moose. She enjoyed playing cards, Dominos and Words with Friends. She loved butterflies.
Jackie is survived by her husband of 52 years, Danny; son, Sean Murphy and life partner, A.J. Deal; sister, Carol Roeske; and dear friend, Polly (John) Powers. She was preceded in death by her parents and sister, Darlene Reddy.
