LOCASCIO “SKIP”, Elnora Acquin – Of Flint Township, age 96, died Saturday, March 30, 2019 at The Oaks at Woodfield in Grand Blanc.
Funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, April 4, 2019 at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Deacon Ken Preis officiating.
Burial in Crestwood Cemetery.
Those desiring may make contributions to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
Visitation 4-8 p.m. Wednesday and 10 a.m. Thursday until the time of the service at the funeral home.
Elnora was born in Detroit, Michigan on February 22, 1923.
She attended school at St. Michael’s and St. Matthew’s during her high school years.
On December 31, 1943 she married Joseph C. Locascio in Flint.
She attended Holy Redeemer Catholic Church for many years, with her husband Joseph.
She enjoyed crocheting, macramé and she loved to travel all for over the country with her husband.
Most of all she enjoyed being with her family.
Elnora was employed as a school bus driver for Carman-Ainsworth over 35 years.
Surviving are children, Gail F. Antior,
Charles K. Locascio and
Bryan (Jacqueline) Locascio;
10 grandchildren;
23 great-grandchildren and
1 great-great-grandchild.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Russell and Dehlia Johnson; husband, Joseph C. Locascio; son, Gerald J.; two grandchildren, Michael W. Antior and Patrick J. Antior; sisters, Caroline and Gene.
The family would like to extend a thank you to the attending and medical staff at The Oaks at Woodfield and Heartland Hospice.
