BOIS, Violet E. – of Clio, age 90, died on Sunday, October 3, 2021, at home with family by her side. Funeral services will be held 12PM Thursday, October 7, 2021, at the O’Guinn Family Funeral Home in Clio. Pastor Cindy Dewar officiating. Burial in Woodlawn Cemetery. The family will receive visitors at the funeral home on Thursday from 10AM until the time of service at 12PM. Memorial contributions may be made to the family for future designation.
Violet was born August 9, 1931, in Clio, Michigan, to the late Glenn and Helen (McBride) Hogle. She married Thomas Bois on August 20, 1949. He preceded her in death in 1982. Violet worked at Bronner’s Christmas Wonderland in Frankenmuth for many years. She was a faithful member of Clio RLDS Church. Violet loved to garden and take care of her birds.
Surviving are: Daughter, Connie Stoutenburg; Grandchildren: Keith (Sarah) Stoutenburg, Robert (Kim) Stoutenburg III, Daniel Stoutenburg, and Mary Stoutenburg (Daniel); 2 great granddaughters; 7 great grandsons; Sisters: Elaine (Lawson) Vaughan, and Linda Shick; Several nieces and nephews. Violet was also preceded in death by: Sons: Timothy Bois, and Patrick Bois; Grandson, Andrew Stoutenburg; Sisters: Glena Patterson, and Elda Jean Cordrey; Son in law, Robert Stoutenburg Jr. Please sign our guest book or share an online condolence with the family at www.oguinnfh.com.
