Onalee Grace Herriman, age 92, of Montrose, Michigan passed away on Saturday, October 30, 2021.
Onalee was born to the late Clarence and Grace Manchester on November 20, 1928 in Clio, Michigan. She was married to her dear husband, Elmer, for 46 beautiful years. Onalee had a heart of gold and enjoyed caring for others including her mother, grandchildren and great grandchildren. She loved to knit and would often knit afghans, hats and mittens for the children at Carriage Town Ministries. In her spare time, Onalee enjoyed reading and doing crossword puzzles. She was very involved at her church, Faith Missionary Church, for over 20 years. Onalee will be dearly missed by her loving family, and all who had the privilege to know her.
Onalee leaves behind to cherish her memory her loving husband, Elmer; dear children, Susan (Tim) Flint, Laurence Mott, David (Kathy) Herriman, Terry (Karen) Herriman and Darlene (Brian) Herriman; and many precious grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Onalee is preceded in death by her sons, David and Ralph Mott, and many family members.
The family kindly requests that memorial contributions be made to Alzheimer's Association of Flint.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, November 3, 2021, from 10am to 12pm at Faith Missionary Church, 1327 N. Elms Rd., Flint, MI followed by the funeral service at 12pm officiated by Pastor Brent Kriesch. Interment will be at Flint Memorial Park in Mount Morris, MI.
