CUNNINGHAM, Larry – of Flint, age 63, passed away Thursday, August 18, 2011 at Brian’s House Hospice. A Funeral Service will be held 1 PM Monday, August 22, 2011 at Allen Funeral Home, 9136 Davison Rd., Davison, Pastor Brad Button officiating. Burial will be in Meadowview Memorial Gardens. The family will receive visitors from 4-8 PM Sunday and from 11 AM until the time of the service on Monday. Memorial contributions may be made to Brian’s House Hospice.
Larry was born in Flint, MI on June 17, 1948, son of the late John Paul and Lillian (MacNeil) Cunningham. He married Debbie Freeman on June 23, 1990. Larry retired from GM-Buick Assembly in 1999 after 33 years of service. He was a jack-of-all-trades and could fix anything. He enjoyed trips to the casino and working on custom cars.
Larry is survived by his wife, Debbie; children, Teresa (Phil) Grace, Betty (Tom) Thibeault, John (Jessica) Cunningham, Tony (Angie) Freeman, Becky Freeman (Jim), Eric (Debbie) Freeman; grandchildren, Brett, Sophia, Gregory, Andy, Zach, Aly, Marisah, Sara, Violet, Logan, Dylan; great-grandchildren, Kaili, Tessa, Dakota; siblings, Kathy Prieur, Tom (Carol) Cunningham, Linda Waltrip (Gary Cameron), Mike (Monica) Cunningham. He was preceded in death by grandson, Richie Gerow; nephew, Kevin Prieur.
