LEMON, Sandra Elaine "Sandy" - Age 84, of Fenton, passed away Thursday, October 26, 2023. Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM Friday, November 3, 2023 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Fenton Chapel, 1000 Silver Lake Road, Fenton (A livestream of the service will be available on Sandy's obituary page at www.sharpfuneralhomes.com). Steve Andrews will be officiating the service. Burial in Oakwood Cemetery, Fenton. Visitation will be held at the funeral home Thursday from 4-8 PM. Those desiring may make contributions to the Pregnancy Resource Center, 3404 Saginaw St., Flint, MI 48503. Sandy was born October 8, 1939 in Buffalo, NY, the daughter of George Emmanuel and Pauline Elizabeth (Sherman) Bjorling. She was a 1957 graduate of Fenton High School and was crowned Ms. Fenton. She had resided in Fenton most of her life. Sandy retired from the Fenton Area Public Schools after 29 years of service as the Director of Nutrition. She was a former member of Kensington Community Church in Troy. She also was a member of the Fenton Rotary Club and the Bayview Club. Surviving are: her children, Lana (David) Jones of Buford, GA, Steve (Susan) Lemon of Crockett, TX, Missy (Bill) Vincent of Fenton; grandsons, Daniel (Judy) Lemon of Pearland, TX, Joshua Jones of Roswell, GA, Christopher Lemon of Spring, TX, Zachary Jones of Cullowhee, NC; granddaughters, Chelsey (Austin) Langley of Middleville, MI, Morgan (Nicholas) DiMaggio of Metiarie, LA, Paige Lemon of Austin, TX, Logan (Jeremy) Nolkemper of Fenton; great grandchildren, Kennedy Lemon, Harrison Lemon, Beau Langley, Baylen Langley, Noah Langley, Keller Langley, Henry DiMaggio, Lucy DiMaggio, and Carter Nolkemper; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Edward and George Bjorling; sister, Myrna Feetham; daughter, Lisa. Tributes may be shared at www.sharpfuneralhomes.com. |
