DUBENION, Peter M. “Pepsi Pete”- Of Flint, age 71, died Friday, December 5, 2014 at his residence.
Funeral service will be held 11am Tuesday, December 9, 2014 at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Flint,
Reverend George Warson and Father John Baker co-officiating.
Burial in Vienna Township Cemetery.
Visitation 1-4pm and 6-8pm Monday and 10am Tuesday until the time of service at the funeral home.
Peter was born in Flint on May 5, 1943, the son of the late Peter and Rose (Lilac) Dubenion. He was a truck driver for Pepsi for nearly 20 years and he enjoyed the long-haul. Peter was a member of Hilltop Church of God and the Burton Eagles Aerie #3814. He was a NASCAR fanatic and enjoyed woodworking and gardening. Peter also loved helping people.
Surviving are wife, Betty;
son, Anthony (Becky) Dubenion;
daughters, Theresa (Daniel) Shields, Patricia (Rick Lumm) Dubenion, Petrina (Henry) Boedecker, Linda (Tony) Vickery and Patricia (Kevin) Bender;
20 grandchildren, 1 great-grandchild and 12 step-great grandchildren;
sister, Joann (Dick) Hetherington;
aunt, Josephine Baker;
and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by children, Joseph, Ann Marie, Bobby Cook and brother, Bill Dubenion.
