PFEIFFER, Rose Marie – of Burton, age 85, passed away April 30, 2016 at Genesee Care Center. A Funeral Liturgy will be held 11 AM Tuesday, May 3, 2016 at Allen Funeral Home, 9136 Davison Rd., Davison; Rev. Fr. Andrew A. Czajkowski officiating. Burial will be in Flint Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be 1-8 PM Monday and 10-11 AM Tuesday.
Rose was born in Flint, MI on August 6, 1930, daughter of the late Paul and Minnie (Gibson) Cournyea. She married Arnold P. Pfeiffer and he preceded her in death. Rose was a member of Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church. She enjoyed gardening and taking care of her family.
Rose is survived by her children, Patrice (Russ) Treadwell, Dave (Peggy) Pfeiffer, Mark Pfeiffer and Gisele (Al) Davis; five granddaughters; three grandsons; two great-granddaughters; one great-grandson. She was preceded in death by her son, Michael Paul “Tiny” Pfeiffer.
