Gilbank, Geraldine E. - Age 98, of Swartz Creek, died October 30, 2017. Geraldine was born on September 27, 1919 in Hoxyeville, Michigan to Andrew and Mildred (Flesher) Stocking. She married Paul Gilbank in Hoxeyville on September 30, 1939. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother that devoted her life to her family, her home, and to her many friends. She loved to sew, quilt and cook for the family at any opportunity. Geraldine was a strong woman with deep spiritual convictions and unshakable faith. Surviving are her children: Bobby Gilbank of Pinedale, WY; Coleen Landris of Cincinnati, OH; Daniel (Jeanne) Gilbank of Swartz Creek, MI; and Debra (Dale) Bullen of Byron, MI; nine grandchildren, twelve great grandchildren and six great great grandchildren; and sister, Gloria Burr of Arleta, CA. She was preceded in death by her parents and four siblings; husband; daughter, Darlene Wood; son, Warren Paul Gilbank; grandsons, Norman and Jeffrey Gilbank. The family wishes to extend a very special thank you to McLaren Hospice; especially to her primary care nurse, Jodi. Those desiring may make contributions to McLaren Hospice.
